Dala Casting Rubber – 250ml

The Dala Casting Rubber is a brush-on liquid latex product. This will allow you to recreate detailed designs and make a flexible mould of any item.

This Dala Casting Rubber will allow you to create flexible moulds or 'negatives' of any item you would like. The liquid consistency of this product will get into all spaces, allowing you to recreate even the smallest of details. Apply the Dala Casting Rubber with a brush onto the item you would like to create a mould of. The flexible mould is easy to peel off and remove after the liquid latex has thoroughly dried.

For the best result, you should apply 5-10 layers of this Dala Casting Rubber. After applying each even layer, allow the casting rubber to dry completely. The artist will know when each layer is dry as the product will darken slightly in colour when it is completely dry. You will be able to remove the flexible skin-like mould once all the layers are completely dry. Clean up the brushes and any spills with warm, soapy water.

You can use this product in conjunction with plaster of paris to create a sturdy base for the mould to sit in. Therefore, your flexible mould will be supported which will allow it to set properly.

This product contains ammonia which can cause skin and eye irritations, it is therefore advised to work cautiously with this Casting Rubber.
