Dala Opaque Paint Medium – 250ml

The Dala Opaque Paint Medium is a complementary product to fabric paints. Transform any of your standard Dala Fabric Paints into opaque colours.

This Dala Opaque Fabric Paint Medium will allow you to use standard Dala Fabric Paints on darker materials, patterned, and dyed fabrics. Now you can use your Dala Standard and Dala Neon fabric paints on darker fabrics. You can safely use this opaque fabric paint medium on synthetics, cotton lycra, and many other fabrics. However, you should do a sample swatch test before the application to ensure compatibility.

How to use Dala Opaque Fabric Paint Medium

Firstly, start by mixing a small amount of the opaque fabric medium with your non-opaque Dala Fabric Paint. The ratio of Oqapue Medium to Fabric Paint will be based on the fabric you are using, and the shade of paint. Once you are happy, heat-set the garment for 3 minutes at 160°C, however, if you are using an iron set it to the recommended temperature of the fabric you used. As long as the garment was set correctly, you can dry clean them.

You can clean up any spills and messes with warm soapy water.
